My approach
At the heart of how I work is exactly that, heart and a deep sense of humaness.
I don’t sit with you as the expert of your life. I sit with you as another human who truly cares how you are and wants to support you to better understand and accept yourself
At the centre of my work is
Empathy. A deep interest to fully understand you.
Unconditional positive regard. A felt acceptance of who you are, however you are.
Honesty. A realness in how I am with you.
A therapeutic relationship built on trust and respect.
What working together
might include

We can talk, at your pace, about things you want to talk about. Through my offering of congruence, empathy and understanding you will find the insights you need to make positive changes to how your feel and think.

If you want we can use the body as a way to meet and move through emotional experiences. This might include, movement, sound, breath work, meditation and focusing/ body listening.

We might use art, imagination, or whatever creative medium makes sense to you to help you make sense of your experience.

I offer walk and talk therapy and also nature connection work. We use nature to reflect on our experience and to gain insight and guidance in how we wish to live.
